BATLOW COMMUNITY WORKSHOP TO DISCUSS PRIORITIES FOR THE TOWN

Batlow community members are invited to attend a community workshop hosted by the Independent Member for Wagga Wagga, Dr Joe McGirr, and the Batlow United Community Chamber (BUCC) on Sunday 12 November 2023.

The community workshop is an opportunity for locals to share their vision for Batlow town and to identify ideas and work that could improve the town.  

Feedback collected at the workshop will be presented to Snowy Valleys Council.

Dr McGirr says this is an opportunity to share community views with council.

 “It is important that council projects for Batlow align to what the community wants to see happen,” Dr McGirr said.

“This workshop is an opportunity for the community to come together and identify the most needed improvements to prepare the town for any future funding opportunities.”

The workshop will be held on Sunday 12 November, from 11am to 1.30pm, at the Batlow Rotary Interactive Centre (BRIC) on Kurrajong Avenue in Batlow.
